Submerge
Dark, liminal and minor. Empty corridors, backup power, a hum you stop noticing after ten minutes. Slow enough to disappear into.
Synthesizer ambient, scored like a film
Hour-long compositions for deep focus and the long dark between stars, and seamless loops for games that need a mood to live in.
The name comes from the Latin submergere and emergere. Every EMERSE piece leans toward one pole: down into the dark, or up into the light.
Dark, liminal and minor. Empty corridors, backup power, a hum you stop noticing after ten minutes. Slow enough to disappear into.
Cosmic uplift. A signal received, the first light after a long night. Major, spacious and hopeful, and never a trance track.
One continuous hour aboard an orbital station that is slowly abandoned over seven years. Pads breathe, machinery cools, a beacon keeps calling, and near the end someone still aboard plays one last melody, a little clumsily.
Put it on while you work, read or fall asleep. It is built to be lived with for the full hour, and to sound different on the second listen.
Seamless, emotional synth-ambient loops for indie games. Warm analog character, written to sit under hours of play without wearing out.
Think quiet farms, late-night cafés, small worlds that ask you to slow down. Each loop is composed to repeat cleanly, so the music stays a mood and never becomes a distraction.
Every note is written, sound-designed and mixed by one person. No generative audio, no AI-made music, ever.
I make synthesizer ambient with a film composer's sense of pacing. My first sketches were orchestral, aimed at trailers and games. Over time the music slowed down, the scenes got longer, and the hour-long form turned out to be where the stories fit.
EMERSE is the name I settled on. It joins emerge and submerge, and my own initials are hidden inside it. Every piece belongs to a small fictional world I keep notes on, whether it is a failing station or a signal that finally gets through.
